Hi, I’m Hannah

A bit about me: I’m married to my high school sweetheart and we have 5 children. After struggling with depression and low energy for decades, I became gluten and dairy free when I was breastfeeding my 3rd child in 2014. He developed severe eczema when he was a baby and when I became strictly gluten and dairy free, his skin cleared dramatically. It was amazing! That wasn’t the only amazing thing that happened. I suddenly had energy for the first time, and the depression lifted. No more feeling blah and sluggish all of the time. My life was renewed! The mind-gut connection is REAL! I never want to go back to the way I felt when I was eating gluten. After getting my whole family tested, yep, you guessed it, we all have celiac or gluten intolerances.

When we first started this gluten free journey, it was a huge challenge and I wish I would have had more support and recipes that were tried and true! Since then, I have become a baking expert of all things gluten and dairy free for a large family. Gluten free can be expensive, especially when you are feeding a growing family. but I am here to teach you how to bake healthy, nutritious and cost-effective food from scratch without sacrificing flavor. I also share my unique perspective on being gluten free (and mostly dairy free). I’ll share more about how raw milk has changed our lives here and how beneficial sourdough has been for my family!
